Crosswalks.

Crosswalks map ULC fields onto the adjacent standards your data may already live in, so moving to or from ULC doesn't mean rewriting your data layer. All four are planned; the status of each is flagged below.

  • GLDF

    Planned

Global Lighting Data Format, DIAL-stewarded XML container for the DIALux and RELUX planning ecosystems. ULC and GLDF address different problems at different layers; a manufacturer can publish both.

  • ETIM

    Planned

ElectroTechnical Information Model, a widely adopted classification vocabulary for product attributes in electrotechnical wholesale. This crosswalk will map ULC fields to ETIM feature identifiers where a correspondence exists.

  • IES LM-63

    Planned

IESNA photometric data format. ULC does not duplicate or replace its content; this crosswalk documents how to extract ULC field values from .ies files.

  • EULUMDAT

    Planned

European photometric data format. Parallel to IES LM-63; the same field-extraction guidance applies, with EULUMDAT-specific source-block conventions.
